Happy Thai new year lately. How are you doing everyone? As for us, it’s not playing Songkarn at all because I afraid of the sun in Thailand, but it’s okay, I didn’t play Songkarn, but I still got to eat delicious food with my family and I was happy. Well, let’s get straight to the point.
Today we are back with a review of a cafe that is a cafe of the page that we have reviewed.
https://sukhumvitcafe.com/?p=135
But please wait, I’m back with another review because the cafe has relocated and opened as a chill-out bar in Sukhumvit. After hearing this, you want to know what it is, right? Let’s go and see.
Relocated
As we mentioned above, Chu Chocolate bar & cafe was previously located in Asoke area. But recently, the shop has moved to open in Phrom Phong area, which is not far from the original location. Moreover the shop has changed a lot from the original which is the shop has parking and seating areas both outside and inside. Including the opening of a dining set service with drinks and happy hours as well.
Daily brunch menu
Walking in, the atmosphere inside the shop is divided into 2 parts: the dessert part and the bar. But we got to sit in the dessert zone. After that, the staff brought us the menu, all in English which is no surprise because on the day we went, 90% of the customers who came to use the service were foreign customers. But if any of your friends are unsure, you can ask the staff. The menu price is quite high. But the amount of food that the restaurant provides is very worth it. Okay, let’s have a look at what the menu and drinks we ordered. First dish is here.
The plate in the picture is big but the real thing is much bigger. Inside the dish, there will be baked bread topped with a large piece of smoked salmon, topped with a layer of scrambled eggs and topped with cream. Overall, it’s delicious but the bread is a bit hard at the edge of the bread. But if I want to explain in a simple way the taste of this dish is the taste of the ingredients used because it hasn’t been through any seasoning. It’s like eating healthy food in itself.
Let’s continue with Iced Ceylon tea.
For this drink, let me just tell you that it’s like lemon tea without lemon.
Okay, after eating something fishy, I wouldn’t be able to continue with dessert then come to dessert together, that is.
Butter milk Biscuit with Butter & Jam
For this dessert may be familiar to dessert that I knew. In my personal opinion, I think they are similar to English scones. The restaurant is very full for the amount of food. I want to say that we can’t finish this dessert but personally, I like to eat biscuits with strawberry jam.
Extra service
As we said, the reason moving the shop because the shop will have a Dining set and Happy hour service, the interior of the shop will also show the alcohol brand. The service of Dining set and Happy hour will start from 5 pm onwards. In addition to having a dining set service, there are also a variety of desserts available and there is also an additional 10% discount.
In the details of Dining set and Happy hour, you can see details on the Facebook page of the shop.
Location
Getting to Chu Chocolate bar & cafe is very easy, you can take the BTS to Phrom Phong station, take exit number 1 and walk into Soi Sukhumvit 31. Walk straight into the alley and you will see the shop sign in front of the alley. And walk less than 50 meters to the cafe. Or if you can’t walk, you can take a motorcycle. For anyone who wants to drive, can open the map and drive straight away.
Today we would like to end this review just like this. For today, say bye bye.
